Growth and marketing manager (contract)

What will you be doing?

  • Work with the Head of Digital Marketing to develop and implement client campaigns

  • Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including PPC, SEO, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.

  • Generate leads for Aura Digital and clients

  • Oversee team members in their work

  • Collaborate with the creative and content teams to develop compelling marketing materials and content that resonate with the target audience.

  • Analyze campaign performance data, identify key insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve marketing effectiveness.Execute ongoing and approved campaigns according to client brand guidelines

  • Create and present regular reports on marketing performance and ROI to the management team.

  • Produce and write a wide variety of original content

  • Keep a pulse on new and updated social media channels, trends, and proactively identify new and topical content ideas

Requirements

  • Highly organized, creative, and collaborative thinker

  • Passion for social media, storytelling, brand building, and out-of-the-box thinking

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (4 years) in digital marketing with a focus on growth and client acquisition. Experience in a digital marketing agency is highly desirable.

  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices, including PPC, SEO, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth and deliver measurable results.

  • Proficiency in using analytics and marketing automation tools to track and optimize campaign performance.

  • Excellent communication, copywriting and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey marketing strategies and results to stakeholders.

  • Proactive and self-motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.

  • Solutions and results-oriented

  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends and willingness to continuously learn and adapt to changes in the industry.

  • Experience using Google Workspace, Notion, Asana and Slack

  • Previous experience working with consumer goods, hospitality, fashion, creative industry brands

  • Proficiency with scheduling tools (such as Buffer and Later)

  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite and Canva (preferred)

  • Ability to create and edit basic social media videos and animations using Capcut and InShot

  • Must own an iPhone and a laptop

  • This is NOT a remote position and work will be done out of our office in Lagos, Nigeria

  • Compensation will depend on experience
